Release & Source Notes

  • Public App Store metadata support URL: https://lunaperegrino.studio/apps/speedscope/support.
  • Public App Store metadata privacy URL: https://lunaperegrino.studio/apps/speedscope/privacy.
  • The current App Store release packet is prepared in the SpeedScope repository, but the App Store Connect app record, signed archive, final screenshots, and review submission remain separate release steps.
  • App Store mode uses guided controls. Local development builds can include confirmed power-user actions for private troubleshooting, but that mode is not the submitted App Store behavior.
  • SpeedScope is a diagnostic utility, not a promise that every slowdown can be automatically fixed. Some findings require quitting apps manually, waiting for indexing to finish, or using Activity Monitor.
  • Large external disks, backup volumes, Docker Desktop, and local AI/transcription jobs can create legitimate load. Review the evidence before following a suggested action.
