App Privacy

Filing Studio Privacy

Filing Studio is designed to index and organize user-selected folders locally, with cloud storage connections treated as explicit, account-authorized features. Its public support and privacy URLs are ready for App Store metadata, while release-owner setup remains outside this website.

This page is app-specific. It is separate from the website, store, analytics, and commission inquiry policy so App Store privacy answers can stay accurate for each app.

Selected folders only

Filing Studio works with folders you choose. It stores local indexes, review reports, cleanup plans, and app preferences in app-owned storage on your Mac. It does not scan your whole Mac unless you explicitly choose broad folders.

Review before changes

The app is built around scan, Smart Review, Folder Lens, approve, undo, and restore workflows. File moves, cleanup archives, and restore operations are designed to require visible review or confirmation before changing files.

Local intelligence

OCR, captions, search-index batches, duplicate checks, and organization reports are designed to run locally or through bundled helpers where available. Original files are not uploaded to Luna Peregrino services.

Optional cloud connections

Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive features require explicit provider authorization. The release path treats cloud storage as read-only inventory and planning unless a future version clearly enables provider write operations with separate review gates.

Local credentials

When cloud accounts are connected, access tokens should be stored in the macOS Keychain. Support requests should never include passwords, OAuth tokens, private keys, or full private file listings.
